More Than Infant Daycare Austin TX Families Expect

Research shows the first three years are the most critical period for brain development, making early language exposure and responsive interaction especially impactful.

Most infant and toddler daycare programs focus primarily on supervision and basic care. At INIC, learning begins from the very first day.

Through intentional interaction, language exposure, and guided experiences, children build the foundations for communication, confidence, and learning.

Nurturing Care & Purposeful Learning for Toddlers and Infants

INIC Preschool’s whole-body, whole-brain approach to early development is backed by evidence-based curriculum for daycare and preschool.

Infants (Babies)

Our infant program is designed around calm, responsive care and intentional early learning experiences that support whole-brain and whole-body development.

  • Teachers create rich sensory experiences through varied textures, music, and gentle movement
  • Warm, responsive conversation and daily Spanish immersion support early language development
  • Babies practice rolling, reaching, grasping, kicking, and tummy time throughout the day
  • Engaging sounds, vivid contrasts, and hands-on exploration stimulate curiosity and awareness
  • Responsive caregiving builds strong, secure relationships and emotional connection

These experiences activate the parts of the brain responsible for language, bonding, motor skills, and emotional regulation, while strengthening both large and small muscle groups.

Toddlers

As children grow into the toddler stage, their day includes more movement, interaction, and structured opportunities to build independence and communication.

  • Continued Spanish immersion through play, routines, and group interaction
  • Guided movement, exploration, and early coordination activities
  • Social interaction and communication through play and shared experiences
  • Sensory-rich environments that support curiosity and problem-solving
  • Consistent routines that help toddlers feel secure while encouraging independence

Every routine becomes a meaningful learning moment, helping children form strong neural connections while growing in confidence, coordination, and communication.
