High-quality curriculum-based childcare is in short supply in the booming Round Rock area. INIC Preschool’s new opening provides much-needed relief. Preschool tours are available now, and pre-enrollment is underway for students in all age groups for a July 5 opening. The building was previously occupied by a Children’s Courtyard daycare franchise, which closed in 2021.

Round Rock preschool location & nearby employers

INIC’s Round Rock Spanish immersion preschool campus is located within Round Rock’s award-winning school district with speedy access to major highways, serving families in North Austin, Pflugerville, Cedar Park, Leander, Georgetown, Hutto, Taylor, and Liberty Hill. Nearby employers include Dell, Apple, Amazon, Samsung, several hospital systems and government entities, and more.

“Families have been waiting for a unique option like this in Round Rock - We’re getting tons of tours and enrollment inquiries,” says co-founder Maria Ciccone. “Summer camp and full-time preschool classes fill very quickly, just like our South Austin campus. The neighborhoods here are all about family. We’re excited to join this wonderful community.“

Now enrolling preschool & summer camp

Families are now signing up for summer camp and full enrollment. Summer camp is loaded with fun activities that have educational components, all in Spanish. Activities include yoga, cooking class, sports, interactive games, and more. Summer camp is for kids up to seven years old from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. and ends July 25.

Full enrollment is available to infants as young as three months old up to five years old. INIC Preschool provides a proven education model for advanced school readiness. Children who graduate from INIC are leaders in their class when they get to elementary school; that’s because the curriculum focuses on core learning milestones related to reading, writing, science, arts, and math, as well as social and emotional development. Campuses feature SEAM classrooms with whole child enrichment activities, outdoor playgrounds, and indoor gyms.

“Technology” is intentionally excluded from children’s classroom activities, but INIC is loaded with high-tech tools for parents and staff. WatchMeGrow secure live streaming cameras are located in each classroom so parents can check in on their little scholar during the day, and the Brightwheel reporting app provides seamless communication between parents and teachers. The secure facility has enhanced safety and cleaning protocols, too, including more than 50 security cameras, auto-locking exterior doors, and more.

Discounts are offered to the first new families enrolling at INIC Round Rock.

Bilingual children – surprising benefits

“Some families aren’t aware that language immersion builds young brains in so many beneficial ways,” says Ciccone. “Language immersion isn’t just about speaking a different language. It’s widely documented that learning a second language deeply stimulates several regions of a child’s brain. Bilingual children have higher math, reading, emotional, and analytical skills, and they’re better multi-taskers. Every class here is in Spanish, every day – That sets us apart from other Spanish child care providers in the Round Rock area. That, and our curriculum is unmatched.”
